Kneel on Shins Stretch
Equipment Needed
- Open floor or yoga mat
- Pad for knees (optional)
Instructions:
- Start in a tall kneeling position
- Point your toes so that you are resting in the tops of your feet
- Sit back on your heels so your weight is displaced across your shins
- Try to get your shins as flat to the floor as possible
- If you want a more intense stretch try lifting up on knee from the ground

If this is too challenging:
- Hold onto a foam roller or other implement to partially support your weight
If you want more of a challenge:
- Try lifting one knee at a time to increase the stretch
