A little Bit About Mission MVMT
If you’ve ever said to yourself:
“I keep getting shoulder pain. I rest and it goes away but then when I get back in the gym it comes right back.”
“Whenever I squat I get a pinching in the front of my hip. I do the banded mobilizations and it helps but only for a short time, sometimes not at all. I just want to squat without this annoying pain!”
“I feel like I take 2 steps forward and one step back! I get hurt, take some time off then get hurt again when I come back to the gym!”
You’re not alone and you’re in the right place.
Hi. I’m Ian, founder of Mission MVMT
I have been in that situation numerous times in the past. Funny thing is that I have been helping to rehabilitate and prevent injuries in athletes for over a decade and I still found myself:
- Overwhelmed by information
- And lost when it came to taking care of myself
What you may find, as I did, is that by creating a road-map with specific objectives and exercises you will be able to:
- tune out the sea of information
- Know exactly what to do and when
- and stay in the gym without further injury
When you hit small goals along the way, and know what to expect when the going gets tough then you can stay positive and keep raising the bar.
By correcting how you move you can prevent common pains like:
Strains and sprains
You will also notice a dramatic change in performance!
Can you imagine dropping time in metcons just because you knew exactly what to mobilize and how?
What about making your squat smoother, stronger, and more comfortable by performing a simple warm up designed just for you?
If you don’t move the way you are designed to then you will never perform to your potential. It’s the same as driving your car with the parking brake on. You can still move, and probably pretty fast but not nearly as fast as when you remove that restriction.
